We will only accept used phones which are in good working condition. Cosmetic wear and tear is acceptable. For the cashback, we will not be able to reimburse you if the used smartphone returned is not in a good working condition.

You can choose not to upgrade your smartphone. There is no obligation to sign up for a new program to get an upgraded smartphone. Do remember however, to continue the monthly payments to the bank for the next 12 months (total 24 months of payment).
Consistent with our other products, you may return your purchased smartphone within 7 days of collection for a full refund. Items should be returned in their original like-new condition with all accessories and original product packaging intact. Please contact our customer service should you decide to return the purchased phone.

CompAsia Sdn Bhd (“CompAsia”) offers the ReNew+ Program described below under the following terms and conditions (“Terms & Conditions”). When a customer enrolls in the ReNew+ Program, he agrees to the following Terms & Conditions:
1.1. The ReNew+ Program is available to customers who have complied with the terms and conditions set out herein and involves the purchase of a mobile phone (“Original Mobile Phone”) of his choice from an array of selection as listed in www.compasia.com/renew+.
1.2. The ReNew+ Program also includes an option to upgrade to a new mobile phone (“New Mobile Phone”) subject to the conditions set out in Clause 3 below (“Upgrade Option”).
1.3. Installment Plan
The customer is required to enter into a twenty-four (24) months’ credit card installment plan (“Installment Plan”) for the full purchase price (inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (“GST”) of a mobile phone of his choice as listed in www.compasia.com with any one of CompAsia’s partner banks (“Bank”)1. Additional terms and conditions as may be imposed by the Bank will apply.
1.4. Credit Card
To enroll in the ReNew+ Program, the customer must have a valid and subsisting personal or corporate credit card issued by the Bank. Debit cards are not accepted. The utilization of the credit card is subject to the terms and conditions of the card membership agreement entered into between the customer and the Bank (“Card Membership Agreement”).
1.5. Credit Card Interest and Other Fees
The issuing Bank of the customer’s credit card may charge interest and/ or other fees pursuant to the terms and conditions of the Card Membership Agreement. This may include, but is not limited to, payment of interest at the applicable rate on unpaid balances or late payments.
CompAsia must receive confirmation from the Bank that the Installment Plan for the full purchase price (inclusive of GST) of the mobile phone chosen by the customer has been authorized, before the customer’s order can be accepted by CompAsia and before the mobile phone can be delivered to the customer pursuant to Clause 10 below.
Once CompAsia has received confirmation from the Bank, CompAsia will notify the customer of his successful enrollment via email (“Confirmation Email”) at the email address provided in his order form.
A valid and binding contract (“Purchase Contract”) shall be deemed to have arisen between CompAsia and the customer upon issuance of the Confirmation Email.
3.1. The customer may exercise the Upgrade Option to purchase a New Mobile Phone subject to all of the following conditions:
3.1.1. Timing, Installment Period and Payments
The customer has completed and has fully paid at least twelve (12) months of the twenty-four (24) months Installment Plan.
3.1.2. Installment Plan
The customer’s account with the Bank is in good standing under the terms of his original Installment Plan at the time of ordering the New Mobile Phone.
3.2. Exercising the Upgrade Option
To exercise the Upgrade Option, the customer must:
3.2.1. subject to the conditions set out in Clause 3.1 above, exercise the Upgrade Option at any time after completing twelve (12) months and before the expiry of the twenty-four (24) months Installment Plan;
3.2.2. enroll in a New Mobile Phone ReNew+ Program which includes entering into a new twenty-four (24) months’ credit card installment plan (“New Installment Plan”) with the Bank;
3.2.3. trade in the Original Mobile Phone in good physical and operational condition, as determined by CompAsia at its absolute discretion; and
3.2.4. pay a one-time processing fee of Malaysian Ringgit Ninety-Nine (MYR 99) (inclusive of GST).
3.3. Refund of Remaining Balance After Exercising Upgrade Option
Subject to the conditions set out in this Clause 3, CompAsia will refund the remaining balance due under the first Installment Plan (if any) (“Remaining Balance”) by way of cheque / cashier’s order / telegraphic transfer / credit to the customer’s credit card account with the Bank upon the later of the following:
3.3.1 the customer has completed the first installment payment under the New Installment Plan with the Bank; and
3.3.2 seven (7) calendar days after the customer has returned the Original Mobile Phone to CompAsia.
3.4. Return of Original Mobile Phone
3.4.1. Upon exercising the Upgrade Option and having successfully entered into the New Installment Plan with the Bank, subject to Clause 3.5 below, the customer must return the Original Mobile Phone to CompAsia.
3.4.2. Return of the Original Mobile Phone shall be made at the point of delivery of the New Mobile Phone at the designated address provided by the customer in his order form of the New Mobile Phone or at one of CompAsia’s partner stores2 when the customer collects his New Mobile Phone.
3.4.3. If the customer does not return the Original Mobile Phone pursuant to Clauses 3.4.1 and 3.4.2 above:
126.96.36.199. CompAsia reserves the right not to deliver the New Mobile Phone to the customer;
188.8.131.52. CompAsia’s partner reserves the right not to hand you the New Mobile Phone at the partner’s store;
184.108.40.206. CompAsia reserves the right to deem that the customer has not exercised the Upgrade Option;
220.127.116.11. CompAsia reserves the right to request the Bank to terminate the New Installment Plan and reverse any credit and/or monies paid under the New Installment Plan;
18.104.22.168. the customer will be responsible for any missed and/or remaining installment payments (including late payment interest charged by the Bank, if any) under the first Installment Plan, as well as any installment payments under the New Installment Plan; and
22.214.171.124. you will be responsible for any administrative charges levied by the Bank for the termination of the New Installment Plan and reversal of any credit and/or monies paid under the New Installment Plan (if any).
3.5. Condition of Original Mobile Phone when Exercising Upgrade Option
The Original Mobile Phone which the customer had purchased under the first Installment Plan must be returned in good physical and operational condition acceptable to CompAsia.
For the Original Mobile Phone to be deemed in good physical and operational condition, the said mobile phone must:-
(a) not have any physical damage or cracked screen (including, but not limited to, being badly dented or having a cracked chassis)
(b) not been damaged by liquid;
(c) be capable of being powered on and off;
(d) be capable of being recharged;
(e) be free of missing or disassembled parts; and
(f) be unlocked (Apple ID and/or iCloud).
3.6. Lost or Stolen Original Mobile Phone
In the event that the Original Mobile Phone is lost or stolen, the customer will not be eligible for the Upgrade Option. The obligation to pay the remaining installment payments under the first Installment Plan will continue and CompAsia will not be liable and/or obliged to make any compensation and/or replace him with a new mobile phone.
3.7. Eligible Mobile Phone Availability
Purchase of a New Mobile Phone is subject to availability at the time the customer exercises the Upgrade Option. Depending on the mobile phone chosen, the monthly installment payment will vary.
Upon exercising the Upgrade Option, title and ownership of the Original Mobile Phone is transferred to CompAsia and the customer disclaims any further right, title or interest in and to the Original Mobile Phone subject to CompAsia paying him the Remaining Balance (if any).
The customer is solely responsible for removing all data, including but not limited to confidential and personal data, from the Original Mobile Phone prior to trade-in. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to back-up any files or data from your Original Mobile Phone that he wishes to retain prior to trading-in his Original Mobile Phone. Data recovery is not and will not be part of the ReNew+ Program and CompAsia will not accept any responsibility or be liable for any disclosure of information or for any lost files or data.
6.1. The prices payable for the mobile phones which are available for purchase are set out in www.compasia.com.
6.2. All prices set out in www.compasia.com are inclusive of GST but does not include any additional protection plan beyond that as set out in Clause 7.
6.3. The customer will be required to pay delivery charges and it might not be possible to deliver to some locations. The delivery charges and delivery locations are set out in www.compasia.com.
The mobile phones available for purchase and set out in www.compasia.com have a one-time claim cracked screen protection3 for a validity period of one (1) year commencing from the date of the Purchase Contract, subject to the terms and conditions of Phone Guard4.
8.1. Subject to Clause 8.2 below, the customer may terminate the Purchase Contract for the mobile phone ordered by giving written notice to CompAsia and returning the mobile phone together with all the accessories at his own cost and risk not later than the seventh (7th) calendar day from the date he receives the mobile phone and the accessories, without providing any reason and/ or paying any penalty.
8.2. The customer cannot terminate the Purchase Contract if the mobile phone ordered has been taken out of the sealed package in which it was received by him.
8.3. If the customer does not return the mobile phone together with all accessories by the date stipulated in Clause 8.1, the customer shall be deemed to have not terminated the Purchase Contract and the Purchase Contract shall remain valid and binding on the customer.
8.4. In the event the customer terminates the Purchase Contract after he has traded in the Original Mobile Phone to CompAsia pursuant to Clause 8 herein, CompAsia will return the Original Mobile Phone that he had traded in no later than seven (7) calendar days from the date of CompAsia’s receipt of the New Mobile Phone together with all the accessories.
9.1. CompAsia reserves the right to terminate the Purchase Contract if:
9.1.1. it has insufficient stock to deliver the mobile phone ordered;
9.1.2. it does not deliver to the customer’s area; or
9.1.3. the price of one or more of the mobile phones ordered was listed incorrectly due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by CompAsia from its suppliers.
9.2. If CompAsia terminates the Purchase Contract, CompAsia will notify the customer by email and will refund any sum received from his credit card account and terminate the Installment Plan with the Bank as soon as possible but in any event within thirty (30) calendar days of the Purchase Contract. CompAsia will not offer any compensation for disappointment and/or inconvenience suffered or be liable to the customer for any charges, penalties, cancellation fee, loss or damage in whatever form which may be levied by the Bank against him.
9.3. Subject to Clause 3 above, the customer shall nevertheless have the right to exercise the Upgrade Option for an alternative mobile phone provided it does not fall within the exceptions of Clause 9.1 above.
10.1. Should the customer elect for delivery of the mobile phone ordered when completing the order at checkout, CompAsia will deliver the mobile phone ordered to the address provided in the order form.
10.2. Delivery will be made as soon as possible after the Purchase Contract is made and in any event within seven (7) calendar days of the issuance of the Confirmation Email pursuant to Clause 2.
10.3. The customer will become the owner of the mobile phone ordered when it has been delivered and received by him. Once the mobile phone has been delivered and received by the customer, title and risk will pass to him.
11.1. Should the customer elect to collect the mobile phone ordered at one of CompAsia’s partner stores when completing the order at checkout, he may collect the mobile phone ordered no earlier than seven (7) calendar days from the date of the Purchase Contract.
11.2. Pursuant to Clause 11.1 above, in the event that the customer does not collect the mobile phone ordered within ten (10) calendar days from the date of the Purchase Contract,
11.2.1. the said mobile phone will be sent to CompAsia’s office and the customer has to contact CompAsia to collect the same;
11.2.2. the risk to the mobile phone passes to the customer when the said mobile phone is sent by the partner stores to CompAsia and CompAsia will not be liable for its loss, damage or destruction; and
11.2.3. the Purchase Contract will remain valid and binding on the customer and CompAsia.
11.3. The customer will become the owner of the mobile phone ordered when he has collected the same from CompAsia’s partner store. Once the mobile phone has been collected by the customer, title and risk will pass to him.
12.1. If the mobile phone delivered or collected is not what the customer has ordered or is damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, CompAsia shall have no liability to him unless it is notified in writing of the problem within ten (10) calendar days of the delivery or collection of the mobile phone in question.
12.2. In the event the customer elects for the delivery of the mobile phone ordered and he does receive the mobile phone ordered within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of receipt of the Confirmation Email pursuant to Clause 2, CompAsia shall have no liability to the customer unless it is notified of the problem within seven (7) calendar days from the date of receipt of the said confirmation email.
12.3. Pursuant to Clauses 12.1 and 12.2 above, CompAsia’s only obligation will be, at the option of the customer:
12.3.1. to make good any non-delivery;
12.3.2. to replace or repair any mobile phone that is damaged or defective; or
12.3.3. to refund the amount paid by the customer and received by CompAsia for the mobile phone in question.
12.4. Save as precluded by law, CompAsia will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses (including loss of profits, or goodwill) howsoever arising out of any problem notified in writing to CompAsia under this condition and CompAsia shall have no liability howsoever and whatsoever to pay any money to the customer by way of compensation other than to refund the amount paid by the customer for the mobile phone in question under Clause 12.3.3 above.
12.5. The customer must observe and comply with all applicable registrations and legislation, including obtaining all necessary customs, import or other permits to purchase the mobile phone from CompAsia. The importation and exportation of certain of certain mobile phones to the customer may be prohibited by certain national laws. CompAsia makes no representation and accepts no liability in respect of the export or import of the mobile phone ordered.
12.6. Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit any rights the customer may have as a customer under applicable local law or other statutory rights that may not be excluded nor in any way to exclude or limit liability of CompAsia to the customer for any death or personal injury resulting from the negligence of CompAsia.
Unless otherwise expressly stated in these terms and conditions:
13.1. All notices from the customer to CompAsia must be in writing and sent to CompAsia Sdn Bhd of Unit 2.04 Wisma Academy No. 4A Jalan 19/1 46300 Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia; and
13.2. All notices from CompAsia to the customer will be sent by email to the customer at the email address provided in the customer’s order form.
CompAsia shall have no liability to the customer for any failure to deliver the mobile phone ordered or any delay in doing so that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond CompAsia’s reasonable control including, without limitation, acts of God, acts of civil or military authority, fires, strikes, lock-outs and other industrial disputes, epidemics, governmental restrictions, wars, terrorist attacks, riots, earthquakes, storms, typhoons, floods, breakdown of systems or network access, breakdowns in electronic and computer information and communications systems, explosion or accident and in the event of any such delay, the time for CompAsia’s performance shall be extended for a period equal to the time lost by reason of the delay which shall be remedied with all due dispatch in the circumstances.
15.1. If any part of these Terms and Conditions is unenforceable (including any provision in which CompAsia excludes liability to the customer), the enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected.
15.2. The illegality, invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Terms and Conditions under the law of any jurisdiction shall not affect its legality, validity or enforceability under the law of any other jurisdiction nor the legality, validity or enforceability of any other provision.
Except for the affiliates, directors, employees or representatives of CompAsia, a person who is not party to this Agreement has no rights to enforce any term of these Terms & Conditions.
18.1. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by, interpreted and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms & Conditions must be submitted for mediation at the Malaysian Mediation Centre (MMC) in accordance with MMC’s Mediation Procedure in force for the time being. Either party may submit a request to mediate to MMC upon which the other party will be bound to participate in the mediation within forty five (45) days thereof. Every party to the mediation must be present personally or represented by senior executive personnel, of at least the seniority of a Head of Department or its equivalent, with authority to negotiate and settle the dispute. Unless otherwise agreed by the parties, the Mediator(s) will be appointed by MMC. The mediation will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in the English language and the parties agree to be bound by any settlement agreement reached.
Any notice consent or other communication authorised or required to be given hereunder or for the purposes hereof shall be deemed to be sufficiently given to the other party if left at or forwarded by registered post recorded delivery service rapid fax telex or any other form of electronic transmission addressed to such party at his last known address or its registered office and every notice consent or other communication shall be deemed to have been received and given at the time when in the ordinary course of transmission it should have been delivered at the address to which it was sent.
21.2. The customer should keep a copy of these Terms & Conditions and any sales receipt or other materials relevant to his purchase of the mobile phone ordered and Installment Plans for his records. CompAsia reserves the right to substitute, change, cancel or add to any part of these Terms & Conditions at any time, including terminating the ReNew+ Program. Visit www.compasia.com for the most current Terms & Conditions. In the event the ReNew+ Program is discontinued, the customer will still be responsible for any Remaining Balance due under the terms of his Installment Plan with the Bank.
